To calculate the schedule for a project, MacProject II needs to know how long each task will take—the task duration. You supply this information, drawing on your knowledge of the tasks, your experience with similar projects, and input from other team member.
Because the durations you initially assign are estimates, you will probably change some of them after MacProject II has prepared the initial schedule for your project.

To add duration to a task:

Select the task and choose Show Task Info from the Task menu.
Type the number of days (or other units of time) the task will take in the Task Duration field.
If you want to add more task durations, press Return, Command-Return, or Enter.
